All Saints’ Day 2014
Our students have been studying the saints quite extensively this year. Each student was encouraged to dress up as the saint their class is studying or as a saint of their preference. It was a wonderful day of celebration and prayer.

The St. Francis Annual BBQ and Carnival was another great success this year! We would like to especially thank all our wonderful parents and volunteers for all their hard work and dedication to making this event a great success and especially our BBQ Coordinator Maria Raymond for her outstanding efforts. All of the Yuma community enjoyed our world famous tri-tip dinners, carnival games, community entertainment, treats, pony rides, petting zoo, rock wall and games. Our Annual BBQ and Carnival continues to be a much anticipated and enjoyed Yuma tradition.

Blessing of St. Francis Catholic School.
As we commence the 2014-2015 academic year, Father Emilio and St. Francis School staff and students came together to ask for God’s divine help in watching over and blessing our school. Father Emilio blessed every classroom, student, playground, computer lab, library, administrative office and parish hall (and every corner between here and there).
St. Francis staff getting ready for their students return.
The teachers and staff of St. Francis school have been very busy this summer! The whole school has been painted and cleaned, the new doors and video surveillance have been installed, and the staff has re-organized everything. Additionally, all our teachers are certified and all our staff are Red Cross trained. This is the kickoff to what we hope will be a very fantastic year for our students and staff at St. Francis School.
