St. Francis School Walk-a-Thon
Sponsored by your Home and School Association
Friday, April 28, 2017
The Walk-a-Thon is coming!! On Friday, April 28th, we will enjoy a day of fun, fitness and games
beginning at 9am. Students should come ready to walk in their PE Uniform and comfortable shoes.
It’s going to be a warm day, so please remember sunscreen, a hat and a towel – just in case you get
This year, Home and School will be offering raffle prizes each half hour starting at 9:30am till
11:30am. You won’t want to miss out! In order to participate in the Walk-a-Thon Raffle, each student
will need to have a minimum of $10 in pledges. One of the best ways to get sponsors is to ask family
and friends to make a pledge and/or students can ask their parents to take the pledge form to work.
We ask that students do not go door to door asking for pledges for their safety.
There will also be a drawing for a chance to win credits for the 2017-18 school year! To enter, a
family needs $100 in pledges. The drawing will be held that day to announce the winner. Winners do
not need to be present but must be in good standing with all fundraisers, tuition and other fees to
● 1st Place Prize – $500 Tuition Credit
● 2nd Place Prize – $250 Tuition Credit
● 3rd Place Prize – $125 Tuition Credit
We love to see our parents out there with the kids and we need your help. This is the last big chance
to get those service hours completed!!
Expect to see some of our local law enforcement and military agencies, do a little Zumba, enjoy some
music and free time with your friends! Lunch, water, and a treat will be provided.
Proceeds from this event go toward St. Francis School and materials to assist students and teachers in
the classroom.
Mark your calendars – pledge forms and money are due back to the office by April 26th. Any parents
interested in volunteering can contact Maria Raymond 928-446-3964.
We look forward to a great day with you all!
